Clearaudio Champion (GBP 850.00 exc arm and cart)

Clearaudio's new base model is a cracker! The all new Champion comes in a choice of traditional clear or opaque black acrylic and features three acrylic cones for feet. The outboard motor unit housed in a solid metal case is similar to the more expensive models, and has a two speed stepped pulley. Platter, as usual, is all acrylic, and comes with the basic Clearaudio record clamp.

The Champion comes with armboard ready cut for any one of the Rega arms, or their Audio Note variants, all of which we can supply. Additionally, there is an upgrade program available which takes the Champion up to a different level entirely - please consult us for details.

So, there you have it. The price of quality German engineering comes down to a new low. And I'm going off now to rewrite the piece on the next model up, the Solution, now that it's no longer the base model!
