Aurora Mk2

Origin Live, a British company who started by making cables and stands in the late 1980s then became famous for their (ongoing) modifications to Rega tonearms, have attracted excellent reviews and awards for their turntables and tonearms.

The Aurora, now in Mk2 form, is a great turntable which offers performance considerably above its price level. Sound is fast and transparent. A wide range of arms can be accommodated, though the usual choice is an OL modified Rega or the OL Silver - easy VTA adjustment is possible on both.

The Aurora comes complete with an OL regulated motor controller which has switching for 33 and 45 rpm.

Origin Live products can also be purchased direct via their website for the same price as from dealers, but please note that only if purchased from us will we set up and optimise the arm and cartridge of your choice. It's skilled and time consuming work and we have to prioritise.

Sovereign Mk2

The Sovereign, Origin Live's best turntable, incorporates all their unique design features using higher quality materials with closer tolerances. Performance is in the top league and compares with turntables costing considerably more. Most top quality arms can be fitted but their own tonearms are the natural choice.

OL-1 + Upgrades

The OL-1 tonearm is a standard Rega RB251 arm supplied by Origin Live which can be ordered with as few or as many of their Rega upgrades as desired. Alternatively, if you already have your own Rega arm, be it an RB250 or RB300, or the newer RB251 and RB301, or even one of Rega's more expensive arms, it can be sent via us to OL for upgrading.

Upgrades include improved internal wiring, external wiring, high quality phono plugs, rigid counterweight and stub, and the slotted armtube mod.

Silver Mk3c

The Silver is almost all Origin Live except for the bearing yoke and arm rest / cueing / antiskate platform, which are Rega! It's a superb tonearm which performs to a standard way above its price range. As it comes with the new Rega three point mounting it's suitable for mounting on a wide variety of turntables.
